3-HS Common Assessments: How to assign and use FIAB/CAST IA data to drive instruction. (PAID TRAINING)

Common assessments create opportunities to discover student thinking and respond with evidence-based instruction. No matter your grade (3-HS) or subject area, this PD will cover the basics and help you and your team feel comfortable getting started. Please bring a charged device as we will be using these systems in real time to view assessments online.
This training will provide:
  1. An overview of curriculum maps and assessment calendars
  2. How to use the TOMS to view and assign assessments
  3. How to use the CERS to view and analyze data for instruction

Project Write - Session 2: Creating Writing Spaces

Welcome to Session 2 of Project Write! This interactive course is designed to transform your approach to writing by continuing to focus on identity within writing, as well as, creating an engaging and supportive writing environment. In this session, you'll learn how to cultivate a space that highlights and celebrates student writing and fosters a vibrant and collaborative writing community. Together we will show you how to showcase and honor the diverse voices within your classroom. We will give you ideas about  how to display student writing in ways that inspire and motivate.
This is a repeated session from the 23-24 school year. Feel free to attend if you missed last year or would like a refresher.

The session will be held in room 314.
