If you requested to use 95% Talk to Learn curriculum in your classroom this school year, please join us as we dive into the building oral language comprehension, the TK Framework, and how 95% Talk to Learn supports these elements.

Please come with your Cities Unit and Community Helpers Unit including the teacher edition and the associated cards. We will share video implementation of the suggested routines as well as provide time to prepare your materials. In addition, there will be time to share materials and ideas in a collaborative document. Please bring ideas you might include in a TK cities and community helpers unit. Be prepared with story titles, nursery rhymes, songs, poems, center ideas, and ways to differentiate for the various age groups.

The purpose of our committee is to decide on one benchmark platform that we would use across the district. The committee's purpose will be to create a rubric as the method in which we will evaluate benchmark assessment platforms, vet our platforms against the rubric and make a recommendation on the assessment platform we will adopt for the district. We are looking for a diverse perspective and representation in this committee: teachers of varying grade levels or subject areas from different schools and different benchmark platforms getting utilized.
