Ad Hoc Instructional Materials Meeting (Online/Voluntary)
Thursday January 16, 2025 2:30pm - 3:30pm PST
The use of high-quality, evidence-based instructional materials is more crucial than ever. Join us for a series of three optional online discussions focused on the importance of integrating powerful tools such as the 95% Reading Group model, Acadience, and the SVMI framework into elementary classrooms.
Throughout these sessions, we will explore the potential benefits of a full implementation of these tools to support and enhance literacy and mathematics instruction for elementary students. These resources provide targeted strategies for improving reading fluency, comprehension, and mathematical understanding, ensuring that teachers are equipped with the best possible methods to support diverse learners.
By attending these discussions, you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Gain a deeper understanding of how 95% Reading Group can strengthen reading instruction and boost student success.
  • Discover the value of Acadience as a data-driven tool for monitoring and improving reading progress.
  • Learn how the SVMI approach can foster a deeper conceptual understanding of math, creating stronger problem-solvers in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to discuss the challenges and rewards of implementing these frameworks school-wide.
