Elementary:
If you teach a combination class, please just choose 1 training that best aligns with your assignment for next year.
Group A: RCE, EWE, EES, AES, WTH, LS, MES, THE, WTH
Group B: RRE, DGE, WES, WCE, LVS, RRC, CCE, KMA

Secondary:
Attend by course not by site. Example all Algebra 1 teachers would come on the same day regardless of their site.

Join us for a grade level/course focused professional development provided by Amplify Desmos Math. The goal is to help teachers integrate these innovative tools into their daily instruction for better student learning outcomes. By exploring features and tools of the platform, teachers will learn to key components for the materials that lead to engaging learning experiences. These lessons have a plethora of resources and can be tailored to meet diverse student needs. Participants are encouraged to bring their devices for hands-on activities, promoting active participation and application of knowledge. Ultimately, the session aims to empower teachers to transform math instruction, fostering a dynamic classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and academic success.

Whether you're new to using Canva with students or looking to take it to the next level, we’ll provide tips, templates, and real teacher examples to support you. 

This is a hands-on workshop so please bring your teacher laptop AND a student iPad.

2024–25 Accessing Summative Assessment Results in CERS (Optional Training)

Audience: This online training is designed for all CERS users who want just-in-time information about accessing assessment results in advance of results becoming available for the 2024–25 school year in CERS.
Topics: How to access specific 2024–25 summative assessment results in CERS, viewing Individual Student Reports, and understanding features available for specific assessments.
Two modules will be offered:
  • Module One (May 15, 2025) will focus on the 2024-25 Summative English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC), the Summative Alternate ELPAC, and the California Spanish Assessment (CSA).
  • Module Two (May 22, 2025) will focus on the 2024-25 Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments for English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics, California Science Test (CAST), and the California Alternate Assessments (CAAs) for ELA, mathematics and science.
