We will primarily be looking at the Silicon Valley Math Initiative's tasks during this training. Rooted in the principles of the Teaching for Robust Understanding of Mathematics (TRU) Framework (University of California, Berkeley & Michigan State) and the Mathematical Language Routines (Stanford University), SVMI designs and delivers uniquely transformative experiences and resources for equitable and engaging mathematics instruction. Suitable for all teachers but this session will focus on grades 3 - 5
