Chad Petties is a highly accomplished Licensed, Marriage, and Family Therapist with over 28 years of experience in managing challenging behaviors and helping individuals with ongoing significant social/emotional skill deficits, and/or mental health needs. Along with working with youth from many cultures and economic backgrounds, Chad also have over 20 years’ experience training and managing adults in the education field. Chad’s years of experience working for school districts, private practice settings, residential programs, group homes and currently Riverside County SELPA office is a tremendous asset to his professional development capabilities.
As an Educationally Related Mental Health Case Manager for Riverside County SELPA, Chad specializes in staff development, Educationally Related Mental Health consultation and guidance along with connecting school districts, families, and professionals to community resources. Just in the previous four years, Chad Petties has trained over 4,000 professionals in the areas of mental health, coaching and leadership, school behavioral supports, and crisis prevention. Mr. Petties has presented for the Riverside County SELPA symposium the previous three years, also Chad has presented for the past three years at the Region 10 Behavior Conference as the 2023 Behavior Conference closing keynote speaker. Chad will continue to work with mental health professionals, school administrators, school counselors, school psychologist, and teachers to meet the needs of students K-12.
